A Letter from the President:
How It Started
ProfitRev is personal to me. I started ProfitRev because I know the weight of building a business on your own. I’ve felt the late nights, the overwhelm, the pressure to wear every hat, every day. But I’ve also felt the joy — the thrill of growth, the pride of progress, and the quiet satisfaction of watching something you built succeed.
For over 25 years, I lived the grind — not the “hustle-porn” version people brag about online, but the real version.
But here's the twist no one tells you:
As financial success increased, freedom decreased.
I didn't startup in Silicon Valley with a Macbook and startup funding.
I started in one of the most old-school industries on earth - petroleum distribution.
I built my career the old-fashioned way:
Cold calls. B2B. Door-to-door. Gas Station to Gas Station.
Pitching products and contracts face-to-face.
No tech. No shortcuts. Just grit, time, and a will to win.
It was honest work, and I'm proud of it. But even as I experienced success — building and selling multiple businesses, operating and growing nation-wide wholesale operations, managing teams across states — I couldn't shake the thought: "There has got to be a better way."
I was buried in spreadsheets. Drowning in tasks. Trying to grow while constantly firefighting.
I didn’t feel like a leader. I felt like a task manager.
Then something clicked
One day, while explaining yet another spreadsheet to a friend at Microsoft, he casually mentioned how he was using AI to build SOPs and presentations. I was intrigued. Then I was hooked. Then I couldn’t sleep — I dove in headfirst.
That moment cracked everything open for me.
I realized: the tools we need to reclaim our time and scale smarter already exist.
Most business owners just don’t know how to use them — yet.
So I built PROFITRev.
Not as a buzzword agency.
